Spray foam basics
What's the difference between open-cell and closed-cell spray foam?
Open-cell foam is soft and expands to fill gaps — a great air seal for walls, attics and rooflines (more on open-cell). Closed-cell foam is dense and rigid, with a higher R-value per inch and a built-in moisture barrier (more on closed-cell). We'll recommend the right one for your project during your free estimate.
Is spray foam safe for my home?
Once it is installed and fully cured, spray foam is a stable, inert material. During installation our crew follows the foam manufacturer's safety guidance, including protective equipment and ventilation. If you have specific health concerns, ask us and we'll share the manufacturer's product information.
Is there a smell, and when can we go back inside?
There can be an odor while the foam is being sprayed and as it cures. Re-entry time depends on the product used and is set by the foam manufacturer's guidance, so we'll tell you what applies to your job before we start and plan the work around it.
Cost
How much does insulation cost per square foot?
Typical prices per sq ft: open-cell spray foam $1.25 (2x4 walls) or $1.45 (2x6, attics and rooflines); closed-cell spray foam $1.35 (1 in), $2.40 (2 in) or $3.50 (3 in); blown-in fiberglass $1.20 (R-30), $1.40 (R-38) or $2.00 (R-60); fiberglass batts $0.85 (R-13), $1.10 (R-19) or $1.65 (R-30); fireproof coating $1.35; insulation removal $1.00 on its own or $0.65 when bundled with new insulation. Your final price is confirmed in your estimate.

Process & timing
What happens after I call?
We set up your free estimate, look at the space, and give you a price and a recommendation for the right insulation. Once you approve it, we schedule the job, do the work, and clean up when we're done.
How long does a job take?
It depends on the size of the space and the type of insulation. We give you a timeline with your estimate.
Can you remove my old insulation?
Yes. We remove old, damaged or contaminated insulation for $1.00 per sq ft on its own, or $0.65 per sq ft when bundled with new insulation.
Metal buildings & commercial
How do you insulate a metal building?
We spray closed-cell foam first to act as a vapor barrier against the metal, then add open-cell foam on top for a higher overall R-value.
Do you work with builders and commercial projects?
Yes. We insulate homes, shops and metal buildings, and we work with builders. Send us your plans or call 469-338-9847 to get a quote.
Payment & financing
How do I pay?
We send a QuickBooks invoice link. You can pay by card (2.9% card fee) or by ACH bank transfer with no fee. Checks are also accepted with no fee — mail them to P.O. Box 191712, Dallas, TX 75219. See Pay Invoice.
